We provide our Guide Dogs Free of Charge to our blind or visually impaired clients. This is only possible because of the support we receive from people like you. And there are many ways you can lend a hand. In addition to regular donations or legacy bequests, you can help us to raise awareness by hosting events, or making presentations to your synagogue or local service organizations.
We are a small non-profit that makes a huge difference, but we need your help to spread the word. Perhaps you know people who love Israel, dogs, or helping others in need. Please help us to connect with them. We also provide a unique experience to Bar/Bat Mitzvah students. Join with us in making the world a better place. Check out the rest of this section to see how..
The cost to create a “Partnership” between a visually impaired person and a guide dog is approximately $25,000 (excluding overhead), and we provide this service at no cost to our clients. We rely on people with “vision” to help us make these miracles possible. click here to see the Budget for a Guide Dog Partnership.
Your gift of $25,000 will take a person off of our waiting list and provide them with the life-changing friend, companion and partner that they have been waiting for.
Approximately half of the dogs we breed are not selected to be guide dogs, but these amazingly docile animals still serve a purpose as Service Companions to Israelis with other needs. These “career-change” dogs are placed in homes of children with autism, children who are blind, soldiers with PTSD, adults with epilepsy, traumatic brain injuries or other Special Needs.

The waiting list for these animals is growing rapidly as more people are learning about this program. Please consider a gift to help a person with Special Needs obtain one of our Service Companions.
The cost to Sponsor a Puppy is $1,000 and covers the food and vaccinations during the first year of life.
Many students sponsor puppies for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project, and some Hebrew school classes choose the Israel Guide Dog Center to receive funds collected for tzedakah. This is a wonderful way for students to feel connected with a program in Israel that helps people and uses man’s best friend to create amazing partnerships. Please note all donations are gratefully accepted
